To fulfill the mission of the Sonshine Soup Kitchen, we serve a free, nutritious meal to anyone who comes to us.

- Free, to go meals served outside our building in a loving, safe, uplifting atmosphere, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 4:30 – 5:00 pm.
- We strive to provide healthy, balanced meals.
- There are no requirements for receiving a meal, except for sobriety and good behavior. We will serve a meal to anyone in line, no questions asked.
Capabilities
- Fully Equipped Commercial Kitchen – We are a licensed commercial kitchen and comply with all New Hampshire Health Codes, monitored by The Town of Derry Health Department. Management is ServSafe Certified.
Volunteers Are Always Welcome
- Our program is run almost entirely by volunteers. Volunteer groups include churches, school groups, and individual volunteers. Anyone looking to perform community service, for whatever reason, is more than welcome to call our office at (603) 437-2833 during office hours, Monday – Thursday, 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm, and schedule a time to come in and volunteer.
