A little bit of everything: setting tables, preparing the meal, serving dinner, and leaving the First Baptist Church's basement ready for its next use.

Older, comfortable, conservative clothing and good, sturdy shoes are highly recommended.

We begin setting up the dining room and preparing the meal at 3:00 pm. Volunteers are needed for three (3) full hours—between 3:00 and 6:00 pm—to complete the entire process.

The Soup Kitchen relies on the generosity of the First Baptist Church, and the use of their kitchen and dining facilities. The church needs their space on the weekends.
