To fulfill the mission of the Sonshine Soup Kitchen, we serve a free, hot meal to anyone who enters our dining room Monday through Friday, between 4:30 and 5:30 pm. We serve our meals in the dining room at the First Baptist Church, located at 2 Crystal Avenue.

We have fully equipped commercial kitchen at our disposal. Everything that one would need to prepare a meal, including food, is available.

Volunteers Are Always Welcome

Our program is run almost entirely by volunteers. Volunteer groups include churches, school groups, and individual volunteers. Anyone looking to perform community service, for whatever reason, is more than welcome to call our office at (603) 437-2833 during office hours, Monday - Friday, 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm, and schedule a time to come in and volunteer. Volunteer hours are logged, and copies of these logs are available to volunteers.
