What Types of Food Do You Accept? PDF Print E-mail

Any unopened, nonperishable food that can be used for a soup kitchen meal. Such items as canned fruits and vegetables, pasta, rice, spaghetti sauce, fruit juices, sugar-free Jell-o, salad dressings, and drinks are used frequently.

Do You Ever Take Fresh Food Items? PDF Print E-mail

Yes, we take garden produce and meats which have been properly stored if the quantity is enough to serve a crowd. Banquet leftovers cannot be used for obvious safety issues.

Do You Ever Get Too Much Food Donated? PDF Print E-mail

Yes, sometimes we get items that we cannot use and sometimes more than we can use or store. We share such bounty with our food pantry neighbors.

Do You Take Clothing? PDF Print E-mail

Absolutely! We keep a clothing closet for emergency needs. This means that clothing must arrive in ready-to-wear condition—no rips, tears, stains, or broken zippers. Also, clothing for emergency needs means casual and in-season. No prom dresses or business attire.

What About Furniture and Household Goods? PDF Print E-mail
